Happy Wheels Squid
Happy Wheels arrived just in time for Flash's horrific, vile death. That's a nail-biting one. We apologize for the inconvenience. Hopefully, the worry about losing Happy Wheels didn't keep you up at night. If you didn't know it was in development, here's some great news for you. As this is the first public release of the game, please wait a little longer for any remaining bugs to be resolved. While I still prefer Flash, what I like about this version is that it works particularly well on mobile devices. However, at this time, there are no on-screen mobile controls in this software version. This will be included in the next version. Thank you for your patience. If you're in a hurry to try it on your phone, a Bluetooth keyboard will work perfectly for you. Despite previously stating that the game would run at 60 frames per second, some of the more challenging levels are significantly slower at that frame rate. However, it's available through an installation, so perhaps I can host a 60Hz version on a separate page for individuals with extremely powerful CPUs. The rest of the game, Happy Wheels JS, should be a faithful copy of the original in terms of design and gameplay. The user database, levels, and replay counts remain unchanged since the initial release. The only thing that's been lost is the impending doom with the end of the universe.
