Anime Girl Card Match
Anime, sometimes called Japanimation, is hand-drawn and computer-generated animation originating in Japan. The term anime is derived from the English word for animation, and in Japan it is used to refer to all forms of animated media. Outside of Japan, the term specifically refers to animation from Japan or the animation style prevalent in Japan, often characterized by colorful graphics, lively characters, and fantastical themes. This culturally abstract approach to the meaning of the word may open up the possibility of anime being produced in countries other than Japan. The earliest commercial animation in Japan dates back to 1917. A distinctive art style emerged in the 1960s with the works of Osamu Tezuka and spread throughout the latter half of the 20th century, developing a large domestic and international audience. Anime can be distributed in theaters, by television broadcast, directly on home media, and via the Internet. Aside from entirely original works, anime is often an adaptation of Japanese comics (known as manga), light novels, or video games. The production methods and techniques involved in anime have changed over time to adapt to emerging technologies. As a multimedia art form, it combines graphic art, character portrayal, cinematography, and other creative techniques. Anime production often focuses less on motion animation and more on the realism of the settings and the use of camera effects, including panning, zooming, and angle shots. Diverse art styles are employed, and character proportions and features can vary considerably, including expressive eyes of realistic or characteristically large sizes. Anime is categorized into numerous genres targeting both broad and niche audiences.
